There was great excitement in Cooraclare today when members of the Ballyea team, including past pupils Damien Burke and Pearse Lillis, visited with the Senior County and Munster Club Hurling Cups. The local duo were accompanied by captain Stan Lineen, Martin O’Leary and David Egan. Cheers were given, sweets were eaten and photos taken. A big “Thank You” to the lads and we wish them well in their next battle against St. Thomas’ in February.
The pupils of 5th and 6th class made some delicious chocolate biscuit cakes for the Christmas Fair on this Sunday, the 4th of November in Cooraclare Hall. 
Congratulations to all the pupils who competed on the day and represented the school so well. A super day out. 
As a result of the scrap metal fundraising event held last April ,the school was able to purchase new laptops for the students use. A big thank you to everyone!
